** About the Opportunity
** As a Professional, BH Provider Relations/Contracting Rep External, this role will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with behavioral health providers and managing the contracting process. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our network of providers meets the needs of our organization and our members.
** What You’ll Do**

*** Recruit providers and facilities into the MVP network to support MVP members and MVP product expansion efforts
* Develop and maintain relationships with behavioral health providers, including negotiating contracts and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that provider contracts align with organizational goals and objectives.
* Conduct regular provider meetings to address concerns, provide updates, and gather feedback.
* Monitor provider performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
* Develop and present Provider educational and training materials
* Assist in the development and implementation of provider network expansion strategies.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact provider contracting.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful implementation of new programs and initiatives.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to provider contracts and communications.
* Provide exceptional customer service to providers, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

**** Skills and Experience**
* ** Education, Licensures, & Certifications** + Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
* ** Years of Experience** + Previous experience in provider relations, contracting, or a related field.
* ** Required
Job Skills ** + Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to analyze and interpret complex contractual language. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* ** Preferred
Job Skills ** + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Knowledge of behavioral health industry and regulations is a plus.
