Requires 24-hours per month. Requires you to evenings, weekends AND overnights.
Position Overview:We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Per Diem Residential Facility Support Staff. As a member of our team, you will provide essential coverage to our residential facility, offering counseling, support, and training to residents. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe and recovery-focused environment while supervising and monitoring the facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide counseling, support, and training to residents based on identified goals and objectives.
- Supervise residents in managing their medications and adhere to medication policies and procedures.
- Maintain safety of residents and security of the facility through regular monitoring.
- Respond promptly to crises and emergencies according to established policies.
- Assist in daily operations such as light housekeeping, cooking, and food purchasing.
- Supervise and coach residents in their responsibilities for cleaning and meal preparation.
- Maintain documentation standards as per regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Position
Qualifications:
- Minimum
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent with some paid human service experience. - Licensure/
Certifications:
NYS motor vehicle license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation preferred. - Other Skills/Knowledge/
Experience:
Basic computer literacy; experience as a past or present consumer of mental health and/or chemical addiction services is a plus.
- Job requires sitting, handling objects, working with a computer, and communicating with others.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs., walking, standing, and reaching may be required.
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stressful situations.
- Requires you to evenings, weekends AND overnights.
