40 hours a week for Full Time positions and 13 hours for the week for Part Time positions--with the potential for additional hours if desired. Both schedules do require some flexibility. Availability would need to range anywhere from Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM with some evening availability on Monday's, 4PM-9PM, and Saturday availability 8:15AM-4:30PM. This does not mean that you will be scheduled for every single day, every single evening and every Saturday, it just means that the schedule can range throughout the week with any combination of these hours.
We are seeking motivated, passionate individuals to join our team of instructors! These positions involves providing instruction to students through the utilization of the Milady curriculum, along with lesson plans provided by the school. Instructors are expected to ensure school policies are being followed at all times. Each of our programs’ instructors will work closely with the Director of Education to ensure success for all!
Through teamwork, the staff ensures that all supplies and necessary tools are available to provide the best possible education to our students, as they are our #1 priority! An individual who has a solid understanding of what an excellent educational environment looks and feels like is what we are looking for!
- Teach the art of Hairdressing and Cosmetology
- Follow provided lesson plans for theory and practical curricula
- Prepare students to pass the New York State practical and written board examinations for licensure
- Oversee client services to ensure proper protocols are being followed
- Provide practical demonstrations of facial and makeup applications as well as proper waxing techniques
- Record and maintain daily attendance
- Record and enter student grades and classroom work
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid NYS Cosmetology License
- 2 Years Salon Experience

This education will help them pass the New York State Board Exam and provide the entry level skills to become competitive in the industry.
