Salary Range: $15.00 To $18.00 Hourly

Modern Wealth Management is seeking a detail-oriented intern to support our Platform team with financial account data management and system integration projects.

This internship is ideal for students interested in finance, fintech, or operations who want exposure to how advisory firms manage investment account data and portfolio reporting systems.

• Review accounts appearing in Mutual Evolve’s Orion database that are not feeding properly or are not correctly linked to MWM’s Orion database
• Assist in creating or updating “shell accounts” to properly match accounts between systems
• Research discrepancies and help coordinate data feed updates with Orion
• Support internal data accuracy initiatives that impact both Platform and Compliance teams
• If additional capacity allows, interns may assist with:
• Data clean-up and synchronization projects
• Reviewing account records for completeness and consistency

• Current undergraduate student pursuing Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
• Basic Excel or data management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical and logical problem-solving ability
• Interest in financial systems and operations

• Exposure to portfolio management systems and financial data feeds
• Understanding of investment account structures and operations
• Experience supporting data accuracy initiatives
• Insight into the operational side of wealth management
• This internship offers meaningful exposure to real client interactions and the day-to-day operations of a financial advisory branch — providing a strong foundation for students considering a career in wealth management.
