Position OverviewThe Client Service Associate (CSA) plays a crucial role as the backbone of our client experience and operational support team. This position is ideal for a proactive, highly detail-oriented professional eager to master the operational aspects of a financial planning and investment firm. The CSA will support both the lead and service advisors, focusing on efficient workflow management, meticulous record-keeping, and the delivery of our signature "white glove" client service approach.
Key Responsibilities andJob Duties
- Client Onboarding & New Business Support
- Assist in the full New Business Development lifecycle, including accurate preparation of account applications and necessary paperwork.
- Manage account funding processes, follow-up on transfers, and ensure timely completion of all required steps.
- Track and reconcile activities related to new and existing accounts.
- Service, Support, and Operations
- Process service requests for existing clients related to their financial planning, investment, and insurance accounts.
- Manage and submit all necessary paperwork.
- Maintain limited, professional contact with clients to efficiently provide or obtain information and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Provide direct operational and technical support to the lead advisor and service advisors, ensuring their workflow is seamless.
- Act as a dedicated team player, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to assist in all areas of client service and advisor support as needed.
- Data Integrity & Compliance
- Maintain and update critical firm databases, including the CRM system (Smart Office), New Business, and Client Service logs, ensuring data accuracy.
- Gain exposure to and assist with data entry related to our financial planning software (eMoney).
- Maintain meticulous compliance records, ensuring adherence to all firm and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in relevant broker-dealer, vendor and platform training to stay current with process and system changes.
- Education:
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred. - Technical Proficiency:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is preferred. - Prior
Experience:
Prior experience within the Financial Services industry is a - Licensing (Optional):
Holding relevant industry licensing (e.g., SIE, Series 6, Series 7, 66) or certifications is highly desirable, though not required to start. - Professional Development:
Willingness to obtain industry licensing and certifications is encouraged (optional).

Extreme attention to detail and accuracy in managing complex financial paperwork. - Communication:
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills for effective internal and external interaction. - Organization:
