Overview

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated Turbo Tax Live Seasonal Local Service Associates. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs.

In this role, you will work on‑site at a Turbo Tax location, serving customers both in‑person and virtually using Intuit Turbo Tax products. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. Your ability to understand each customer’s unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical.

Additionally, you will play a key role in growing Turbo Tax’s client base within the local community, establishing long‑term relationships, and driving customer loyalty.

• Provide tax expertise—give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for Turbo Tax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a community ambassador—cultivate a robust customer base, engage prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long‑term clients through proactive outreach and local events.
• Educate and communicate confidently—represent Turbo Tax in the local community, host learning events, and demystify taxes to make them accessible.
• Build relationships—demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to customers’ financial concerns and build trust for long‑term engagement.
• Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience—interact with customers in‑person and via Intuit’s video communication tools, addressing inquiries and overcoming tax‑related challenges.

• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a Turbo Tax location.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a Turbo Tax Associate.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

• Must reside within the United States.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
