Student Consumer Lending Processor - Summer

Schedule:

Summer 2026 (May - August).

Hours:

40 per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

Pay: $17.75 per hour.

This position is for students currently enrolled as an undergraduate in your sophomore or junior year.

• Verify and process all consumer loans in accordance with ESL loan policies, procedures, and guidelines to meet daily processing deadlines.
• Gain practical, hands-on learning experiences of all consumer lending products (personal loans, auto loans, and credit cards).
• Learn all aspects of the Indirect lending program and dealer relations.
• Provide support to the Consumer Lending Underwriters, ESL’s front-line resources, and program auto dealers.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preparing 50+ loan packets per day.
• Support departmental project work for the new Loan Origination System.
• Provide support to the Consumer Lending Team by sorting mail, data entry, and filing.
• Rotating assignment in each department area of concentration:
  • Direct – working with consumers
  • Indirect – working with third parties

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in sophomore or junior year
• Business major related preferred
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Excellent analytical, research, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking skills
• PC proficiency (Word, Excel)
• Legal authorization to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
