Key Responsibilities- Work on diverse projects, providing reliable tax advice and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate across teams, listening and sharing information in a highly collaborative culture.
- Analyze complex tax operations to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Identify opportunities and risks, communicating these to clients.
- Research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Develop clear, intelligent plans to improve clients’ tax activities.
- Build long‑lasting relationships by tailoring advice to client needs.
- Supervise a motivated team, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Professional knowledge of a broad range of sales and use tax processes, concepts and tools.
- Proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
- Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
- Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects.
- Strong influencing skills and confidence to question existing processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed and ability to work in a balanced hybrid environment.
- Achieved or partially achieved CPA qualification, certification as a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, CMI designation, or eligibility to sit for a state bar.
We seek proactive individuals who are not afraid to speak up and who have a genuine desire to improve business processes. Strong software skills and the ability to handle complex data from multiple sources are essential.
What We Offer- A comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range (US) of $81,700 to $135,000. Geographic ranges vary as indicated in the original posting. Additional benefits include medical/dental coverage, pension/401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Hybrid work model: most external client‑serving roles work in‑person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
