Tax Expert - Onsite

Overview

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated Turbo Tax Live Seasonal Local Service Experts. This seasonal opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs.

In this role, you will work onsite from a Turbo Tax location, serving customers both in-person and virtually. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. You will play a key role in growing Turbo Tax’s client base within the local community and establishing long‑term relationships.

• Provide Tax Expertise—Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for Turbo Tax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador—Cultivate a robust customer base for Turbo Tax, actively engaging with new prospects and converting them into long‑term clients.
• Educate and Communicate Confidently—Represent Turbo Tax in the local community, hosting learning events and demystifying taxes.
• Build Relationships—Connect with people and build the long‑term trust that turns a one‑time transaction into a loyal multi‑year relationship.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience—Create an exceptional customer experience, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals.

• Possess active, unrestricted credentials: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Have an active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week at a Turbo Tax location.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a Turbo Tax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

• Must reside within the United States.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position varies by location (state work‑force data). This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with Intuit’s applicable plans and programs.
