Jr. Network Engineer

We are partnering with a well-established technology organization seeking a hands‑on Jr. Network Engineer to support and enhance client network environments. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys hands‑on troubleshooting and learning how modern network and cloud infrastructures are designed. The right candidate will work closely with senior engineers, support client environments across on‑prem and cloud systems and grow into a trusted technical resource over time.

• Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of secure network infrastructures including firewalls, switches, wireless systems, and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and infrastructure issues across client environments and assist with advanced troubleshooting when needed.
• Support Windows‑based server environments and identity platforms such as Active Directory and Entra .
• Configure and manage core network services including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, subnetting, and port aggregation.
• Assist with Azure‑based infrastructure including virtual machines, VPN gateways, hybrid identity, and endpoint management solutions.
• Conduct on‑site visits as needed for implementations, upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Produce detailed documentation including configuration records, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Assist with technology evaluations and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Participate in rotating after‑hours support when required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 3‑8 years of hands‑on experience supporting networking or IT infrastructure environments.
• Experience working with enterprise networking equipment such as Cisco, Sonic Wall, Palo Alto, HP, Ubiquiti, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of IP addressing, VLAN configuration, routing fundamentals, DNS, DHCP, RDP, and LDAP.
• Experience supporting virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Exposure to Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or identity platforms such as Entra .
• Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Network+, Security+, CCNA, AZ‑104, AZ‑700, PCNSA, or PCNSE are a plus.
