Manufacturing Engineer
iWorld Professionals is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in bringing new products from concept through full-scale production while strengthening and advancing our manufacturing capabilities.
This position is on site in Rochester New York. If you are interested to partner closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-performing production systems, then this is the position for you!
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to transition new products into manufacturing, ensuring scalable, repeatable, and efficient production processes
- Develop, refine, and standardize assembly and test methods to improve throughput, quality, and cost performance
- Lead process improvement initiatives using data-driven analysis to identify trends, and enhance operational performance
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to support production and testing requirements
- Evaluate, justify, and manage capital equipment projects, including vendor coordination, specification development, and full project execution
- Establish and validate robust manufacturing processes through structured problem-solving and statistical analysis (DOE, SPC, capability studies)
- Create and maintain clear manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures
- Optimize production layouts, workflow, and labor utilization to support capacity and efficiency goals
Manufacturing Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical degree required.
- 2+ years experience in a related engineering role
- Proficient in 3D Modeling
- Equipment integration, data collection, and process control
- Tooling, fixture design, and engineering drawing interpretation (GD&T)
- Engineering design and modeling software proficiency
- Design for Manufacturing/Assembly and lean manufacturing principle
- Strong process and detail orientation.
- Ability to work onsite in Rochester NY.
