We are seeking a full‑time CAD/PDM Analyst responsible for managing Product Data Management (PDM) and supporting Computer-Aided Design (CAD) processes. This on‑site role, based in Rochester, NY, will assist in creating custom wood window and door design drawings and details, create programming to drive CNC cutting equipment in the shop, and assist in the transition of converting all current 2D drawings to 3D models over time.
A longer‑term goal would be the creation of parametric software that would integrate with the company’s new ERP system, developing SOPs and quality control standards.
- Self‑starter with extremely high attention to detail
- Creative analytical person in a custom product/solution environment
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills including use of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, Mastercam, Revit and others
- Expertise in solid wood production, tool paths, and speed for solid wood machining
- Strong language skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
