Electrical/RF Technician – R&D (Onsite – Rochester, NY)

• Act as liaison between Rochester development team and technology stakeholders.
• Manage embedded development, RF, power electronics, tools, and test equipment within the lab.
• Operate, maintain, and modify RF process?power technology used in product development.
• Troubleshoot issues ranging from equipment failures to complex Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Provide clear, proactive communication and status updates to stakeholders.
• Compile data and prepare assessments for operational meetings and reports.
• Ensure lab compliance and enforce safety standards.
• Solve complex technical challenges using analytical and deductive reasoning.
• Support machining/fabrication and perform circuit debug using oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers, etc.

• Associate degree + 10+ years experience OR Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years experience in electrical/RF technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and RF circuits.
• Experience working with complex, multi?subsystem engineering systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem?solving skills.
• Self?motivated with proven ability to meet goals independently.
• Ability to work across multiple teams within established guidelines and policies.

• Experience with LTSpice or similar electrical simulation tools.
• Data collection and analysis using Matlab, Python, or similar tools.
• Strong computer, electrical, and mechanical fundamentals.
• Experience with Linux OS; IT skills are a plus.
