CACI is currently seeking an experienced software engineer with a background working with embedded processors and operating systems to join our Mastodon Design team in Rochester, NY!
We specialize in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers’ requirements. We focus on offering devices that can be fielded immediately to meet the mission needs that lie directly ahead. Size, weight, power, and packaging are of paramount importance in everything we design and build. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic/mechanical design, embedded &application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications systems.
Responsibilities- Maintain and optimize Linux build servers to ensure stability and performance
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to streamline development workflows
- Write and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance efficiency
- Monitor build and deployment processes for issues and bottlenecks, and troubleshoot as needed
- Collaborate with development team to identify and implement process improvements
- Document configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity
- Ensure build environments adhere to security best practices and compliance standards
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Dev Ops or a similar role
- Strong experience with Linux
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python)
- Proven experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired:
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Certification in Dev Ops tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Git Lab Pipelines

The proposed salary range for this position is:
