Principal Engineer; Water​/Wastewater

Principal Engineer (Water/Wastewater) opportunity with a top ENR-listed leader in Civil Infrastructure, Water and Wastewater, based in Rochester, NY. The role is a key strategic hire to support continued project work and growth.

Based in Rochester, NY with hybrid working option.

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized leader, joining their expanding team, leveraging your expertise across Wastewater, and contributing to project development and execution, as well as supporting new and existing clients across planning, design, and construction of wastewater projects.

• Initiate and lead client development/marketing proposals to identify and secure new business.
• Support and manage the full project lifecycle across leading wastewater projects including municipal drinking water, wastewater facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and more.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering calculations and analyses.
• Prepare and review project documentation, bid packages, cost estimates and scopes of work.
• Apply technical knowledge to ensure project quality, schedule and budgets meet internal and external standards.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary designers to complete evaluations and designs.
• Manage and develop design teams and junior team members.
• Travel to project sites as required.

• Bachelor of Science in a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in Civil Engineering Design of Water and Wastewater projects in the USA.
• P.E. Certification.
