Duration: 12+ months (Possible extension )
Pay rate range: $45 – $50/hr on w2 (All inclusive)

Job Description:
Client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mid-level manufacturing engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about assembly integration and testing of low volume, high-precision products. The selected candidate will work both independently and collaboratively to review, plan, integrate, and test unique opto-mechanical and thermoelectric products in a low volume setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks in a manufacturing and/or prototyping environment.
- Review and provide feedback on electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical drawings and designs.
- Translate drawing requirements into detailed work instructions for the assembly, integration, and testing of complex end-products.
- Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure program schedule milestones are met.
- Own product schedule development coordinate across disciplines to ensure agreement amongst stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot issues individually and collaboratively to find quick and safe solutions that minimize schedule delays.
- Balance multiple projects and priorities and communicate clearly to operations leadership.
- Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices.
- Be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 2-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment.
- Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
- Familiarity with machinery, machine building, and precision engineering.
- Experience with Optical Metrology.
- Knowledge of mechanical builds and tolerances, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
