Job Overview
WSP is searching for a Procurement Coordinator for our client’s office located in Rochester, NY
. This role will be involved in projects with our Power & Energy Team and will help the organization meet client objectives and solve challenges.
- Prepare RFPs in conjunction with the Project Team, coordinating with PMO, Project Managers, Engineering, Construction Managers, and Expediting.
- Develop purchase requisition templates for framework purchases, competitively bid procurements, sole‑source procurements, and delegated purchases.
- Manage the procurement database in 3P for unreleased items, delegated, and framework purchases.
- Assist Project Management with company‑mandated procurement documents, providing technical evaluations, justification for sole‑source purchases, historical comparisons, and change‑order processing.
- Coordinate with Project Schedulers to manage procurement milestones and align them with project schedules.
- Coordinate with Document Control to ensure all procurement documents are stored correctly.
- Verify availability of project funds for current and future purchases.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, adhering to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Business or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of direct procurement and/or supply chain experience.
- Ability to work schedules that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to WSP’s health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain authorized status prior to employment; role eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Client approval of candidates is required for consideration.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).

CompensationExpected Salary (all locations): $61,000 - $128,900. WSP USA reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
