Manufacturing Engineer - $77/hr | 9/80 Schedule

Rochester, NY | Onsite

We're hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support electronic, mechanical, and optical production processes in a hands‑on role. You'll bridge the gap between engineering and the production floor—calibrating equipment, troubleshooting issues, and turning complex drawings into clear work instructions that keep operations running smoothly.

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic & electromechanical systems
• Translate technical drawings into detailed work instructions
• Support technicians and operators with hands‑on engineering guidance
• Ensure compliance, accuracy, and documentation in all calibration/production efforts

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (or equivalent) + 2‑8 years experience
• Strong calibration, troubleshooting & production support skills
• Ability to interpret electro‑mechanical & opto‑mechanical drawings
• Proficiency with test/calibration equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, meters, etc.)
• U.S. Citizenship required (ability to obtain background investigation)

• Aerospace/Defense industry experience
• Optical metrology or GD&T knowledge
• Calibration certifications (CCT or similar)

• $77.05/hour + overtime opportunities
• 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off!)
• Mix of desk work & hands‑on floor support
• Collaborative environment with direct impact on production success
