Fisher Associates is actively seeking a Bridge Project Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead bridge design, structural analysis, inspection, and load rating of transportation infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a Civil or Structural Engineer looking to make a meaningful impact on public infrastructure with a firm known for its technical excellence and innovative approach.

Job Type: Part‑time

• Lead bridge design, including load rating, structural analysis, and foundation design.
• Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and transportation structures.
• Maintain accurate records of project details, including design documents, progress reports, and budget information.
• Participate in project planning meetings, coordinating tasks to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Support project managers with schedules, documentation, and presentations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed bridge and culvert inspection reports.
• Provide technical support during construction: respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, and ensure design integrity.
• Collaborate with internal teams, sub‑consultants, regulatory agencies, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and support their technical development.

$100,000–$130,000

Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any specific employee. • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a Master’s preferred.
• Over 10 years of transportation experience, structures/bridge design experience preferred.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain it.
• Experience with Micro Station, STAAD, Bridge Design Software programs preferred.
