Elementary School Teacher

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Elementary Teacher. We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated member of the Elementary School team. This is a great opportunity to build student skills and make a difference in the lives of young people. RACS is a small school community with opportunities for both leadership and mentoring support.

Ideal candidates will possess New York State certification. Candidates with out-of-state certification will be considered. Experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education or have completed a teacher certification program. Salary will be calculated based on possession of certification, years of experience, and possession of a Master's Degree.

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is a public charter school, primarily serving students from the city of Rochester. Over 90% of our students identify as an individual of color. We are a college preparatory school and use data to determine how best to foster student growth. RACS seeks to prepare all graduates for active citizenship.
