Fifth Grade Teacher

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Fourth Grade Teachers for the 25-26 school year. This is a full-time contract position.

Candidates should expect:

• Small class size
  - Max 25 students
• Departmentalized grade level- homeroom and only 1-2 subjects to specialize in
• A supportive grade level and leadership team
• Support for challenging situations with a dedicated Student Care Staff
• New York State Teachers' Retirement
• Early School schedule- 7:15-3:15
• Mentoring program

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess New York State certification. Candidates with out-of-state certification will be considered. Experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education or have completed a teacher certification program. Salary will be calculated based on status of certification, years of experience, and accomplishment of a Master's Degree.

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is a public charter school, primarily serving students from the city of Rochester. Over 90% of our students identify as an individual of color.
