Position: GASTROENTEROLOGIST - LOCUMS TO PERM - ROCHESTER, NY - $500 PER HOUR (NEGOTIABLE) PLUS RELOCATION ASSISTANCE (NEGOTIABLE)

Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is actively seeking a compassionate and board-certified Gastroenterologist to join our expanding team in Rochester, New York. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative outpatient setting, with the flexibility and support you deserve.

POSITION HIGHLIGHT ROLE:
Gastroenterologist (Board Certified/Board Eligible)
LOCATION :
Rochester, NY

SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PMSETTING:
Outpatient clinic with occasional inpatient consults

START DATE:

As soon as credentialing is complete

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Conduct GI consultations and follow-ups in a clinic setting - Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including:

- Colonoscopies (diagnostic, biopsy, polypectomy, bleeding control) - Esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGD with biopsy, dilation, bleeding control) - PEG tube replacements and flexible sigmoidoscopies - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews

QUALIFICATIONS - MD or DO with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license - Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology - Proficient in standard GI procedures - Strong communication and clinical documentation skills - Committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
