Per Diem Endodontist

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Per Diem Endodontist to join the Dental Department at Riedman Health Center
, a teaching site with an established Dental Residency Program
. This role is ideal for an endodontist interested in flexible clinical work while supporting resident education and required program mandatories.

The Per Diem Endodontist will provide specialized endodontic care on an as-needed basis and support dental resident education in alignment with residency program requirements. This role blends direct patient care with clinical teaching and supervision in a collaborative academic environment.

• Provide high-quality endodontic care in an outpatient dental clinic setting
• Supervise and support dental residents during endodontic procedures
• Participate in resident education, case discussions, and clinical teaching
• Support residency program mandatories and accreditation-related requirements as needed
• Collaborate with dental faculty, residents, and department leadership
• Uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards

• Established dental residency program with a strong educational mission
• Academic, team-based clinical environment
• Flexible per diem scheduling based on program needs
• Opportunity to focus on teaching alongside clinical practice

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency program
• Board eligible or board certified in Endodontics
• Eligible for or holding an active New York State dental license
• Interest in clinical education and resident mentorship preferred

• Per Diem (sessions scheduled based on departmental and residency program needs)
