Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Supreme Industries is seeking a driven Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful planning and execution of construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to build a long‑term career in construction project management. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to help coordinate project information, maintain accurate documentation, support billing and cost tracking, and ensure projects move forward efficiently.
This position offers strong exposure to the full lifecycle of construction projects, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow into a Project Manager role over time.
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will help support both the field and office sides of project delivery, including:
Responsibilities- Coordinate project documentation including timesheets, job cost tracking, and T&M billing information
- Code and process vendor invoices and field tickets
- Assist with customer billing including AIA billings and Unit Value Ledgers (UVLs)
- Support budget monitoring and cost tracking activities
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Coordinate daily progress information from field crews
- Assist with project performance tracking and identifying project trends
- Support scheduling updates and progress tracking
- Help coordinate communication between project management, field teams, and office staff
- Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Support project proposals and prequalification packages when needed
- Participate in project meetings with internal teams and clients
- Participate in project site visits and support jobsite safety awareness
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and project procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience supporting self‑perform construction operations is highly valued
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore is a plus
