- As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycle, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Supervising and coordinating all construction activities on‑site, ensuring all work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
- Managing and directing the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, labor and materials, ensuring maximum productivity and cost‑efficiency.
- Implementing and enforcing safety and quality control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conducting regular site inspections and meetings, identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles to progress.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication at all times.
- Preparing and submitting regular progress reports, budgets, cost reports and forecasts, keeping senior management informed of project status and any issues or concerns.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with specific experience in commercial, warehouse and retail construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, standards and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire and direct a diverse team.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using construction software and technology, including project management, scheduling and budgeting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
