Ridgeview Commons, a DePaul Treatment Apartment Program, is now hiring a part-time Residential Assistant. This role is every other weekend on the overnight shift, Friday & Saturday from 10:30pm to 7:00am. Under the direction of the Residence Manager, this role assists with case management, care and training to residents. (Does not involve a case load.)

Part-time Residential Assistant responsible for supporting residents with independent living, safety, and daily activities in a treatment apartment program. This includes supervision, documentation, meal support, and participation in recreational activities, under agency policies.

• Provide teaching, supervision, and support to residents in areas of independent living.
• Observe, monitor, and document resident behaviors and progress in accordance with agency standards.
• Assist in the preparation of nutritious meals and food preparation when needed.
• Assist in the implementation and supervision of recreational activities.
• Complete household chores to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Supervise and document resident medications in accordance with agency policies.
• Perform other duties necessary for the effective operation of the community residence.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required; contribute to treatment team meetings, staff meetings, utilization reviews, and other meetings.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations for self and others.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma.
• Experience:
  
  Human services experience preferred.
• Other:
  Driving record that meets agency’s Clean Driving Record Policy.

• Pay range: $20.00–$20.30/hour based on experience
• $1/hour shift differential on overnights
