SummaryThe administrative role supports the operational apologized activities of the department, providing clerical and receptionist support duties to department personnel and leadership.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate computer proficiency with common software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Rochester Regional Health systems (Kronos, Work Day, Qlik, etc.). Mentor staff on software use.
- Manage payroll functions: accurately enter, edit, and
240 generate reports in Kronos-master assist the staffing coordinator with routine payroll tasks and apply knowledge of Rochester Regional Health patrol policies. - Support departmental leadership in completing data reports, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings and calendars, and maintaining departmental file systems; attend meetings and take minutes as required.
- Distribute operational reports to managers and generate reports graphs in appropriate formats, including budget, FTE, and dashboard reports.
- Facilitate interview scheduling and the new‑hire process in partnership with departmental leadership and HR; maintain and update new‑hire welcome packets.
- Monitor time and attendance; send coaching emails to frontline team members under the direction of departmental leadership.
- Maintain and update unit or department policies, procedures, job descriptions, orientation manuals, and other related documentation.

- Associates degree and knowadelphia of medical terminology.
- 3‑5 years clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with scheduling and payroll.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with the following systems:
Kronos, ANSOS (Nursing only), u.Net, Group Wise, Internet, and Intranet. - Effective communication and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Capability to adapt to changing and fast‑paced environments.
Sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. May involve walking or standing for brief periods, but primarily involves sitting.
