Management Support Services, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is a strong communicator, a team player, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Clerk will support daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and payroll assistance, while providing excellent service to vendors and internal clients.
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals
- Calculate invoices, process payments, print checks, and assist with collections (B2B)
- Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9s and supporting documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with weekly payroll processing for multiple entities
- Support client billing and contract reconciliations
- Assist with credit card reconciliations and maintain proper documentation
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for invoices and records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal and state regulations
- Prepare ad hoc reports and assist with other accounting duties as assigned
- General knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated, professional, and eager to learn
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field required
- 1–3 years of accounting or related experience preferred
- Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting software is a plus
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
- Payroll processing experience is a plus
