Controller, Outsource Accounting and Finance

Overview

The Bonadio Group is seeking a Controller to join the Outsource Accounting and Finance team. This position provides delivery of accounting and bookkeeping services for multiple clients in a variety of industries. • Perform accounting services for clients inclusive of: preparation of complex key performance indicators (KPIs) and other management reports
• Assist with establishing and maintaining standardized accounting procedures and processes
• Produce all relevant financial statement reports on a monthly and annual basis
• Perform general accounting duties as needed (e.g., accounts payable, account reconciliations, work paper preparation)
• Assist with onboarding new clients
• Provide training for new clients and staff in the use of shared software applications
• Apply prior accounting experience to a wide range of client situations
• Lead and motivate staff in a pay-for-performance environment
• Meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively
• Manage unexpected and urgent firm or client matters as they arise
• Utilize a range of technology solutions (software, peripherals, etc.)
• Demonstrate project management skills
• Aim for consistent and outstanding client satisfaction

Required:

• A minimum bachelor s degree in accounting or a related discipline
• A minimum of four years of related experience
• Team leadership experience

Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.

• Office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
• Summer hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday
• Flexibility is valued; however, the ability to work additional hours may be needed during peak times
