As a leading accounting, tax, and advisory firm in Central New York, we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Audit Associate to join our team and help deliver outstanding service across a diverse client base.

As a Senior Audit Associate, you’ll take on a key role in leading and executing audit engagements while mentoring junior team members and developing client relationships. You’ll be empowered to make informed decisions, manage multiple priorities, and grow as a leader in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading audits, reviews, and other assurance services from planning through completion
• Managing multiple engagements simultaneously and ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables
• Guiding and mentoring junior staff, interns, and associates
• Applying your knowledge of GAAP and GAAS to complex accounting issues and client needs
• Conducting technical research and supporting conclusions with authoritative guidance
• Collaborating with clients and team members to identify improvements in internal processes and controls
• Actively contributing to firm initiatives and business development goals

You bring a proactive mindset and a desire to build strong relationships—with your team and your clients. You’re comfortable managing engagements and enjoy mentoring others while continuing to learn and grow.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience
• CPA license preferred (or in progress)
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit software tools
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 Annually

The listed salary range is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, skills, and alignment with the needs of the role.
