Accounts Receivable Specialist

Insight Global's client is seeking an Accounts Receivables Specialist. They will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, record keeping, financial reporting, and assisting with the preparation of tax records for financial audits. This position will reconcile and verify invoices, prepare all bank deposits, enter cash receipts into the computer, and distribute cash sheets.

• Submit charge card receipts online for bank authorization.
• Maintain, track, and prepare customer billings.
• Enter assigned computer input into financial software and assist with monthly closings and financial statement preparation.
• Use computer report writing tools and Excel to create and print reports as required.
• Prepare reconciliation of appropriate bank and investment statements.
• Function as a backup for other accounting staff.
• Assist with the preparation of bank deposits.
• Support other divisional duties as needed.

Education &

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Accounting
• Quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, outside agencies, and vendors
• Excellent attention to detail

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• Experience working in the nonprofit industry
• General ledger experience and familiarity with accounting software such as Net Suite, Sage, Intacct, Peachtree, or similar
