• Lead and conduct the repair and maintenance of heavy machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Service and repair heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars.
• Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, and instruct less experienced mechanics in dismantling processes.
• Repair electrical equipment; diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to site checklists.
• Complete paperwork and admin tasks such as work orders, card files, PM checklists, and oil samples.
• Service and maintain other equipment such as light plants, water pumps, welders, and related equipment.

• 6 years of maintenance mechanic experience on heavy equipment.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
