Overview

Job Description: CoWorx is seeking Manufacturing Supervisors in the Rochester, NH area to lead and support operations within a fast-paced production value stream!

This role is responsible for maintaining high standards in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) while guiding and developing employees, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring smooth workflow from materials receipt through product shipment.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a solid background in manufacturing environments.

Experience

Required:

3–5+ years manufacturing supervisory experience

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and support production employees within the assigned value stream.
  • Champion Safety initiatives and ensure all employees follow safe work practices.
  • Drive performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
  • Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
  • Oversee 5S, housekeeping, and organizational standards within the work cell.
  • Coordinate production flow, address bottlenecks, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to resolve issues (root cause analysis, QNs, training, etc.).
  • Manage employee scheduling, vacation coverage, timekeeping, and performance reviews.
  • Support training and cross-training programs to build a flexible workforce.
  • Maintain accurate production, traceability, SAP/MII, and inventory documentation.
  • Assist with implementing and sustaining TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) processes.
  • Ensure raw materials, supplies, and work instructions are available at each workstation.
  • Follow Leader Standard Work to maintain process consistency and team accountability.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection of new employees.
  • Address performance issues using progressive discipline when needed.
Desired Background/Skills
  • 3–5+ years of manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience required.
  • AS degree in a technical field preferred; high school diploma with strong experience accepted.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment required.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma training highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills (SAP, Excel, Outlook, Word, PPT).
  • Strong math skills (fractions, percentages, conversions, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety requirements.
