Regional Driver

Fall/Winter, you’ll run Regional Propane with a tractor/tanker, and Spring/Summer, you’ll drive for our Sand & Gravel Division to keep consistent hours and steady employment. This Regional Propane position operates a tractor-trailer to pick up propane at the supply point and deliver it to area facilities. Our Sand and Gravel positions drive dump trucks, flatbeds, end dumps, and truck-and-pup. Accurate, timely paperwork is required, including driver sheets, driver logs, and equipment inspection forms. This position requires a CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tank endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive the assigned tractor/tanker trailer to pick up propane and deliver to assigned facilities
• Safely and efficiently transfer product between transport and bulk storage
• Perform required daily vehicle inspections
• Maintain an active driver’s license and medical card; operate in full compliance with DOT regulations
• Maintain logbook and records; complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and document defects
• Ensure material is properly secured and within weight limits
• Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day
• Maintain delivery schedules to meet customer expectations
• Submit delivery documents after each delivery cycle (daily)
• Represent the company professionally to support customer loyalty
• Follow all company policies, rules, and safety procedures
• Provide excellent customer service with clear, professional communication

Propane Requirements during the busy season (December-March)

• Must be willing to work early mornings, days, evenings, and possibly weekends during a 5-day period. Examples of schedules include Thursday through Monday and Monday through Friday. Rotation of the schedule may be required during the busy season as well.

Other requirements:

• Must hold Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement
• Must be willing to work evenings, overnights, and weekends. Overnights may include sleeping in the truck.
• No more than one moving violation in the previous 2 years
• Pass a 5 Panel Drug test (Urinalysis)
• Pass a Back and Extremity exam
• Be 21yrs + of age

Full-time

Hourly starts at $28-$32 per hour, Propane is paid by 25% of the Load pay
