Assistant Network Technician – 3rd Shift (8‑Week Project)

Schedule:

Sunday night – Thursday night, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Pay: $20/hour

Duration: 8 weeks (potential to extend)

We are seeking an Assistant Network Technician to support a nationwide network installation project inside Walmart stores. This work involves assisting with the installation of network cabling and equipment, performed overnight on 3rd shift to minimize customer impact.

• Feeding cable and handing tools/equipment to the Lead Technician
• Monitoring the area around the scissor lift to ensure customer and equipment safety
• Helping maintain a safe and organized work environment during installation activities

Walmart requires an Assistant Technician to be present whenever a lift is in operation—making this role essential for safety and project success.

• Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic

This is a Contract position based out of Rochester, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
