Pay Rate: $20.00 – $30.00/hour (based on experience)

As a Rough Carpenter, you will install and assemble steel stud framing systems for walls, ceilings, and partitions according to project specifications. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and securing steel studs, and collaborating with project managers and other trades. You will ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and assist with drywall hanging and related tasks.

• Install and assemble steel stud framing systems for walls, ceilings, and partitions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans.
• Measure, cut, and secure steel studs, tracks, and components.
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
• Perform quality checks to ensure framing meets structural requirements.
• Assist with drywall hanging and related tasks.

• 2+ years of experience in steel framing and commercial carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for steel framing.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites in Southern Minnesota.
