Lab Technician

Our client, a leader in bio-fermentation and innovative laboratory solutions, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Lab Technician, you will be an integral part of the pilot plant and laboratory operations supporting cutting-edge bio-fermentation research and development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for scientific discovery, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Rochester, MN

Shift: Day shift

What's the Job?

• Assist in setting up bio-fermentation equipment and maintaining laboratory cleanliness and safety standards.
• Conduct analysis of fermentation samples and accurately record experimental data.
• Update databases with experimental results to support ongoing research projects.
• Support pilot plant operations by preparing and cleaning equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize fermentation processes and troubleshoot issues.

What's Needed?

• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and bio-fermentation processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
• Prior experience in a laboratory setting is a plus but not required.
