Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Overview

Merchandise and Stocking Associate at Sam's Club. Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
.

This role involves working on your feet, keeping shelves neat and organized, and assisting members with finding products. Tasks may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, or helping members while stocking shelves. The position can be physically demanding but offers the opportunity to be part of a great team focused on helping members find what they love for less.

• Promptly unloading trucks and stocking shelves and backroom inventory
• Assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store
• Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom
• Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Ensuring club pickup orders are filled and staged according to policy
• Providing member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with self-service technology and purchasing decisions
• Maintaining safety and following company policies, including safety sweeps and proper handling of hazardous materials
• Maintaining product rotation, signing and pricing, and protecting high-shrink or fragile merchandise
• Complying with company policies and ethics guidelines and supporting business processes

• Provide member service by acknowledging members and guiding self-service technology and purchasing decisions
• Locate and stock merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns; promote products and services
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the sales floor and displays
• Monitor product quality, rotation, recalls, and sanitation; ensure display of promotional and seasonal items
• Collaborate with managers, co-workers, and other business partners; manage priorities and deadlines
• Support club pickup orders and staging as per policy
