Baldwin Family Medicine offers nurses the opportunity to care for patients across the lifespan, providing family-oriented, comprehensive care including obstetrical and well-woman care, newborn and well-child care, pediatrics, and adult and geriatric services. The RN coordinates nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across settings and the continuum of care, aligns with the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, and may participate in leadership and quality improvement activities.

Some positions may require driving a personal vehicle.

This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Holders of F1 status eligible for post-completion OPT may apply. This role is not eligible for the F-1 STEM OPT extension. Successful sponsorship requires state licensure and completion of Visa Screen or equivalent certification.

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program; if not ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited, at least one year RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is required
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with RN start date on or after April 1, 2020 must provide evidence of baccalaureate degree completion within five years
• All entry-level associate degree RNs with RN start date prior to April 1, 2020 must provide evidence of baccalaureate degree completion as required by the program at hire
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of current Mayo Clinic LPN experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in a team environment
• Computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records preferred
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends and on-call
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations; demonstrated leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills

• Current RN license by applicable state requirements
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (AHA or Red Cross); other state licensure and/or certifications as required

Compensation range begins at $34.84/hour. Mayo Clinic nursing compensation rewards experience and education; tuition reimbursement is available.

Part Time; 40 hours per pay period. Monday – Friday; 8-hour shifts; may float to other Primary Care sites (Rochester and Kasson) and provide virtual support as needed.

8–10 Saturdays per year: 7am – 12 pm
