Electronics Technician, Manufacturing Engineer

Production Inspector IThis role focuses on routine visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection of printed circuit boards, systems, and sub‑assemblies to ensure quality compliance with industry and company standards.
Responsibilities- Work from Process Sheets, Visual Aid Packages, Engineering Change Orders, Production Change Notices, and related written instructions.
- Inspect for proper component positioning, soldering, markings, and other quality requirements across various manufacturing technologies, addressing touch‑up or defects as needed.
- Obtain and verify appropriate paperwork and drawings for each job assignment.
- Verify placement, polarity, and labels on circuit boards.
- Use Defect Code List to identify defects and route boards to rework/repair facilities.
- Perform minimal rework/repair duties and hand solder operations as required.
- Complete routing tasks per procedure.
- Enter board and system quantities into the Baan ERP system and input data into PFS.
- Perform duties under close supervision.
- Check configuration on all assemblies.
- Provide timely feedback to operations, management, and support engineering.
- Maintain accurate process documentation and recommend improvements.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- Analyze limited‑scope problems using standard practices and procedures.
- Apply company policies to resolve routine issues and uphold high quality standards.
- 1+ year of experience in basic electronics manufacturing.
- Experience with at least one of PIR, WPI, FPI, or AOI techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and multitasking skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Capability to work with diverse groups.
- Discernment, confidentiality, independent judgment, and professionalism.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise judgment.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
- Customer‑service orientation and client focus.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Web Ex).
- Availability to support a 24/7 global operation and work overtime when needed.
- Willingness to train on new equipment and cross‑train into other operations.
- Participation in continuous improvement activity.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
