$19.00/hr – $22.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

Bright Star Care is looking for reliable caregivers for an on‑call position, offering around 10 hours per week with the possibility of more hours in the future. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible schedule or a gradual return to caregiving.

• Premium short‑shift pay: 1‑hour shifts at $30/hr, 2‑hour shifts at $22.50/hr, 3+ hours at base rate $19–$22/hr.

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients’ lives.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the care coordination team, communicating with the RN case manager to update the plan of care.

• Compassionate, patient, caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care in a hands‑on environment (home health, assisted living, group home, hospital).
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
• Negative TB test or cleared chest X‑ray.
• Availability to work two weekend days per month.
