HoursMonday – Thursday, 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Friday is off.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Have knowledge and understanding of Social Work practices and principles.
- Conduct effective case psychosocial assessment, suicide risk assessment, discharge planning, and lead psycho educational or therapeutic groups.
- Develop treatment plans, complete discharge plans, and conduct discharge meetings.
- Communicate with patients and families to keep them involved in treatment plan decisions.
- Coordinate care with outpatient providers upon admission and discharge.
- Facilitate weekly treatment team meetings; create and update master treatment plans as agreed upon.
- Provide clinical perspective to the interdisciplinary team based on family systems/social work theory.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clinical team members and directors.
- Be oriented and educated in gender, cultural differences, and age‑appropriate care.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work and licensure in the State of Minnesota required (LGSW).
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience using electronic health records preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
- Able to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
- Can shift rapidly between dissimilar tasks.
- Can handle stressful situations and make effective decisions.
- Can react quickly and calmly as part of a team during volatile or emergency situations.
- After training, able to manage disruptive and explosive patients.
Compensation ranges from $26 to $36 per hour, depending on licensure and experience. Pay is determined by skills, experience, education, market conditions, and internal equity.
