Our team is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to work every other weekend supporting clients in our 24‑hour residential treatment unit. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care and support to clients with severe mental illness and co‑occurring disorder. You will work alongside a team of professionals to provide services in the areas of mental health, co‑occurring disorders, monitoring medication compliance, and independent living skills.

• Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
• Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
• Monitors medication compliance and report any side effects.
• Facilitate residential program activities, classes and groups.
• Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
• Respond appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non‑verbal techniques with clients.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• 1 year (2000 hours) experience working with adults with a severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
• Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of MN.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Pay: $24.37 - $30 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
