Our team is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to work every other weekend supporting clients in our 24-hour residential treatment unit. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care and support to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. You will work alongside a team of professionals to provide services in the areas of mental health, co-occurring disorders, monitoring medication compliance, and independent living skills.

• Assess the strengths and needs of clients upon admission.
• Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
• Monitor medication compliance and report any side effects.
• Facilitate residential program activities, classes, and groups.
• Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
• Respond appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• 1 year (2000 hours) experience working with adults with severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
• Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Minnesota.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

$24.37 - $29.24 per hour, based on years of experience.
