Shift: Part-time, 20 hours per week; 11pm-7am, every other weekend, and holiday rotation.

The Radiologic Technologist supports the Mission and Vision of Ascension by performing x-ray examinations under general supervision, following departmental protocols. Responsibilities include patient care, equipment operation, and assisting physicians as needed.

• Ensure diagnostic quality and patient well-being.
• Prepare and maintain work area, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Identify patients accurately and explain procedures.
• Position patients for imaging, ensuring safety and optimal results.
• Review radiographs for quality and accuracy before releasing.
• Assist physicians with contrast media and sterile procedures.
• Maintain supplies and report equipment issues.
• Provide patient instructions and perform ancillary procedures if qualified.
• Participate in quality assurance and data collection.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards.

• High school diploma required.
• Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist registration required.
• Professional demeanor in stressful situations.
