Talented Medical Solutions is hiring a detail-oriented and patient-focused Phlebotomist for a contract assignment in Rochester, Minnesota. Position Overview

As a Phlebotomist, you'll be responsible for collecting blood specimens accurately and efficiently while creating a calm and reassuring experience for patients. You'll support lab operations and play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate diagnostics.



Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and capillary sticks following proper technique
• Label and handle specimens according to lab protocols
• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate documentation
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients of all ages
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work areas
• Collaborate with clinical and lab teams for timely test processing

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program or equivalent experience
• Current BLS certification
• National phlebotomy certification (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a hospital or clinic setting
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
