Position: Speech Language Pathologist - 1.0 LTS

Overview

Position:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Long-Term Substitute (LTS) in Rochester Public Schools ISD #535. 1.0 LTS from approximately November 25, 2025 – June 4, 2026. ESTIMATED INTERVIEW DATE:
Ongoing.

Salary Range: $50,525 – $91,753 annually (based on 192 days; prorated based upon hire date). Salary may be reviewed according to the REA contract.

Qualifications
  • Current Minnesota PELSB license in appropriate area preferred and/or required:
    Speech Language Pathologist
  • Applicant must also hold a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • RPS makes an effort to hire teachers with a full standard license in the assigned subject and/or grade level
  • Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education desirable
  • Demonstrates continued professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job-embedded staff development
  • Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices, and understanding of students  learning styles and needs (academic and affective)
  • Commitment to equity and diversifying the workforce
