**** Position Summary
** As an Associate Financial Advisor, you’ll be a resource for our financial advisors and provide support to the clients of Emerald Financial Group including:
* Build a financial practice guiding clients on their journeys to financial clarity, empowering lives of service and faith.
* Provide personal, actionable and achievable advice and connect clients to Thrivent products and programs.
* Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships throughout generations based on trust and understanding, with the ability to serve clients in your chosen community.
* Make client appointments by leveraging your network and Thrivent’s reputation, delivering award-winning financial workshops and marketing your practice.
* Have the flexibility to control your schedule, allowing for work-life balance.
* Find a collaborative culture with colleagues who want you to be successful and are willing to help you do so.
* Get the support of specialists from every facet of the organization—such as business development, marketing, technology, engagement, and experienced advisors

** Primary Responsibilities
*** Drive business growth by expanding the client base and increasing assets under management.
* Maintain accountability for personal revenue goals.
* Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards.
* Provide comprehensive financial planning and investment guidance to prospective and existing clients.
* Communicate complex financial strategies clearly and effectively.
* Oversee trade execution, insurance analysis, suitability review, and client account changes with accuracy and care.
* Maintain required licenses, certifications, and continuing education.
* Represent the firm through client meetings, seminars, community engagement, and business development activities.
** Requirements
* ** Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
* Securities (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65) and resident state Life, Health and Annuities registration.
* Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.
Thrivent Investment Management is the sponsor for FINRA registration, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is the sponsor for insurance licensure.
