Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineering Lead
Coordinate the day-to-day activities, priorities, and workflow of the Manufacturing Engineering group. Analyze production methods and organizational effectiveness to drive improvements in performance, quality outcomes, and overall plant profitability. Manage cross-functional initiatives with end-to-end accountability for introducing and sustaining new or complex products within the facility. Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase operational efficiency while upholding rigorous quality standards.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage daily activities, priorities, and workflow of the Manufacturing Engineering group.
- Analyze production methods and organizational effectiveness to improve performance, quality outcomes, and plant profitability.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives for the introduction and sustainability of new or complex products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and maintain quality standards.
- Provide technical and process support to identify root causes, resolve issues, and minimize production downtime.
- Maintain expertise in manufacturing methods, standards, and technical documentation to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Expertise in manufacturing engineering and lean manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable education in Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 4 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong project leadership and team guidance capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with process simulation tools, workflow modeling, and value stream analysis.
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with enterprise systems, standard business software, Microsoft Office, ERP platforms, and CAD tools.

The position operates within a manufacturing environment, utilizing advanced technologies and equipment. The role requires the ability to work with enterprise systems, standard business software, including Microsoft Office and ERP platforms, and familiarity with CAD tools. The work involves leading teams and managing projects under tight deadlines.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $/yr.
