About the Role
This role performs technical civil engineering work for public infrastructure projects. Employees will coordinate engineering design activities and prepare plans for construction projects, perform preliminary survey data collection for multiple projects, maintain design software and files, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Employees regularly communicate and collaborate with consultants, designers, contractors, sub‑contractors, property owners, utility companies, other departments, divisions, and others involved in or affected by projects. They make independent decisions in resolving most problems, but inform the supervisor of unusual or controversial problems.
